About Us

You are purchasing from a US company located in Los Angeles, California. Hardheaded Ram was created by an avid cyclist who recognized that people often compromise on the most critical part of their bike - the brake pads - by opting for cheap, unbranded options. We are here to address this issue by offering high-quality brake pads for all types of bikes and riding styles.

After months of research and testing, we have partnered with a respected company in Taiwan that specializes in manufacturing brake pads, including for many brand-name products. The rotors we carry are also manufactured in the same factory as the brake pads, ensuring seamless compatibility.

Our products are designed to fit perfectly with the brake systems of all major brands, including Avid, Campagnolo, Formula, Hayes, Hope, Magura, Shimano, SRAM, Tektro, and more.

The Hardheaded Ram Difference

We use ceramic fiber in all of our pads, which improves their performance under high temperatures. Our pads also include copper fiber instead of cheaper steel fiber, providing better wear resistance and thermal conductivity. Additionally, we incorporate kevlar fiber to make our pads quieter by absorbing the vibration that causes loud braking noise.

Please compare the shape of your original pads before ordering. Clean your disc and caliper before installation and check the alignment of the caliper. Hardheaded Ram brake pads are constructed with high standards to provide a better riding experience, fitting rim sizes 20, 26, 27.5, and 29 inches, as well as 140, 160, 180, and 203 mm rotors.

These pads are designed for all weather conditions, from rain and mud to dry dirt. They can be used to replace rear, front, mechanical, or hydraulic brakes. For e-bikes, we recommend our sintered/metallic brake pads, which are engineered for high temperatures and a long lifespan.
